I’ll meet you in the pub. We won’t book ahead. We”ll just turn up. We’ll sit inside by the fire and grab a drink, I probably won’t be hungry so we won’t bother with food. We’ll catch up as it’s been a while and you’ll tell me what a great week you’ve had, although you’re likely to moan about train delays. You’ll mention your latest work trip and tell me about your holiday plans. I’ll convince you we need to book that spa weekend for next month that we keep talking about.
And when it comes to leave we’ll hug, make plans to have everyone over for lunch and do one of those double cheek kisses I always mock.
